ok.....so here it is......that's the correct setlist...6doit the song is missing...i know, they didn't play it...i'll tell you later...i'll write first the review..

the sound as you know by now, was awful..horrible....security was awful too...two guys got on stage, and the event staff didn't move...dt's techs had to throw them out of the stage, and i'm not kidding...

well, the concert started on time, everyone was impatient...dt started off with the glass prison...james kicked ass on this one..he was pretty pumped up....i guess all the guys were....but then, problems started...sound...sound...and sound...mp's monitors were messed, he was signaling that the couldn't hear a thing...james was asking for something offstage, and he looked pretty mad, 'cause he asked for it several times...and no response....
mike's drums looked awesome, jp's guitars, very nice, jordan's keys, very cool on its rotating base, jm's bass, very cool, although the sound was pretty bad at sometimes...and james' new percussion kit...heavy..hehe...(tambourine, shakers, congas, cowbells, everything..)

as the show went on, the sound got better, burning my soul, and the killing hand sounded awesome...when i heard the notes of those two songs, i said to myself, "the trip was worth it"...the great debate sounded very cool, although the volume was too high...a very cool stage by the way, very simple very plain, the screen was very cool, ,although not used a lot...

petrucci and rudess seemed to be having fun, at least they acted pretty good...mike was pissed off almost half of the show, and i understand him considering the type of person mike is...james was mad at first, but he seemed over it, or resignated to the fact that the sound was not gettiing any better...

ahhh...pull me under...james and the guys must be bored with this one...we sang the chorus everytime....the new sectoin on another hand-the killing hand was very cool..melodies and harmonies...pretty nice..

the jp, jr spotlight sounded pretty awesome...as always, these guys were great...

scarred was pretty cool too..although the sound wasn't very good again....but still the crowd seemed to enjoy it...

finally, the first and last encore on the show....home, tsco, and take the time...at last, the first intermission we said...but never imagined this would be the last...you could hear everyone talk about how were they going to play 6doit...suddenly, they bowed, and the crew started taking apart mike's drums, the lights were turned on, and evryone started leaving....heads down..disappointed...you could hear everybody talkiing about it...then we went on to our car and left...

PERSONAL NOTES:
- overall i rate the concert a 6.5-7 rating...and not because of dt...but because of the sound....DT did their best with what they had...personally i think it was a very good and wise decision to not play 6doit, if they were having troubles, and problems, and everybody (including the fans) were going to bitch the whole 42 mintues about the sound...although i was disappointed it was not dt's fault...
-i've been reading and investigating, and found out several things...the web theater doesn't have own sound system (so, they had to rent it or something...it arrived at 430 pm..3 hours before the show, not enough time to set up the whole thing correctly....so, i guess the sound was the venues fault..not dt..
-i went away dissapointed, but understand the circumstances...mike had no monitors, so he basically played the set w/o hearing very well...he played pretty good, considering the circumstances...jlb...what can i say about this guy....hehe...he said in the middle of surrounded "feedback"...it was the moment that said that something was wrong...but still, he sang pretty good...i enjoyed the moment when he got pumped up in the glass prison...never seen him with so much adreanaline and pumped up...you kicked ass james...jp, jr, and jm...flawless..hell of a performance.....
- thumbs down for the venue...i'm not going back to the web theatr....i'd rather drive more hours than return to you stinking venue...
- sound guys, you better get your asses to work...or DT get someone that can fulfill your desires in the sound....cause you are going to be the only ones that are getting hurt (i mean it by the fact that fans arent' going to enjoy the show, or your music...)
- drum tech...nice tackle on the guy that went on stage, they think it's a nirvana or limp bizkit concert...we prog fans enjoy music..UNDERSTAND THAT...we hate violence in dt's shows...
- mike....keep throwing your drumsticks to your crew so they can do their job...and keep fans off stage too..i enjoyed the moment, although i thought you were going to stop playing...
-security....you call that security? dt's techs doing the job for you? mhm.....

i missed the chance of hearing 6doit live, but i know i'll get a boot with it..hehe...dont' apologize dt...it was not your fault of how ****** up things went that night...everyone was expecting a hell of a show, being the first show of the us tour, but i think we (the fans) expected something out of this world, not realizing this WAS the first show, and shitload of problems could off happened being the FIRST show...

THUMBS UP DT!!! KEEP YOUR HEADS UP!!! i'll see you next time you come around this area...as for me, i'll keep going to your shows, one blow off show is not going to keep me from being a true fan and understanding the circumstances you went through....it was out of your hands...

and

donna...one beer for the guys at the jlb forum, one for me, one for you and one for the DT guys...trust me, DT did their best, and being the type of people they are, i know they didn't expect what happened at the phoenix show...but still, managed to play for 2 and half hours....i appreciate that, and some others do not...true fans understand that you are humans, and that sound guys, are humans too, and they make misakes...and i'm sorry the mistakes came out at the phoenix show...but i'm not sorry of admiring Dream Theater, admiring their music, and admiring their guts of calling off 6doit the song, it was a wise decision...

DREAM THEATER!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
